Experiencing the art of the possible at Google’s AI Playground

On 11 July, we hosted the Highbourne Group at Google’s ‘AI Playground’ in central London.

In a truly immersive workshop, representatives from the UK industry leader in plumbing, heating & renewable energy technology got to experience first hand the transformative potential of AI for their business and the customers they serve.

Over the course of the day, we explored lots of practical use cases for how Google Cloud technologies like Gemini for Workspace, Looker and Big Query can help Highbourne solve both simple and complex problems. These ranged from predicting where and when new stock is needed to producing easy to understand clauses for contracts.

But the day wasn’t all about work. With football fever gripping the nation, the Highbourne team got a chance to ‘bring it home’ with Google’s AI-powered penalty shootout. In another practical demonstration of the power of AI, the experience uses 15 different AI powered Google technologies to score each player’s shots, measuring power, accuracy, and style, with each participant being presented with personalised score cards.
